Title: Obamacare failures
Post by: Matthew Roomsburg on September 22, 2016, 02:01:24 pm
The Obamacare law (a.k.a Affordable Care Act) has been a fundamental flaw from the beginning. We have seen some of our nations largest health insurance companies pull out of the Obamacare exchanges the exchanges have deeply cutted into their profits. Athena which was one of the first couple to bail out has lost around $145 million in profits since they entered the Obamacare exchange. Other insurance companies have lost a fortune as well as a result of being in the Obamacare regulated markets. The affects of the healthcare law have also made health insurance premiums skyrocket for consumers and have lead to some consumers being unable to access affordable health insurance with the lower income and poverty stricken families suffering the most. There are other provisions in the law itself that don't have anything to do with health insurance.
